Liorah Tchiprout
Liorah Tchiprout (pronounced Chip-root) is an artist working in painting and print. A graduate of Camberwell College of Art she has recently been courting much attentionfor her monoprints of puppets made by her own hand.
Based in Kings Cross, London, her live workspace is a guardianship in a convertedhospital, which is also home to a number of other creatives, artists and makers.
Periodically, Liorah sends a PDF of her available work or a new collection that she has developed, to her growing mailing list. She says, “I take photographs of the new work I make and build a catalogue of the collection, which allows me to collate my work into a series. Each catalogue PDF document includes a statement for the collection that I am presenting.
