Margret Trimborn

Margret Trimborn is a German-born artist who pursued her deep art interest after a career in financial services.

She says: “Art and painting are my passion, so I decided to switch from my analytic profession to my love for being creative and live what means one of the most fulfilling things in my life.”

About her process, Trimborn shares: “My approach is more intuitive than concept-driven. I love to react after each step of building out the painting, and to sometimes develop a completely new direction in finishing the artwork. I often work in series, letting each painting inspire the others, which causes a permanent, dynamic, and sometimes surprising progress during the creative process.”
