Rachel Wold Art is excited to announce a solo art exhibition on idyllic and artsy Vashon Island in the Puget Sound, a short ferry ride from Seattle or Tacoma. This exhibition highlights a collection of paintings and multimedia works created in response to the frantic energy of modern life. Seattle-based artist Rachel Wold explores a meditative practice using abstract expressionism and a Pacific Northwest palette. The results are immersive mood pieces that contain moments of calm and space for reflection. The viewer is encouraged to pause, explore the artwork and delight in discovery, to lose themselves in the moment.

Artwork will be available for purchase with a portion of proceeds donated to Urban Artworks. The gallery is located in the beloved Hardware Store Restaurant, a popular eatery known for great food in a landmark building. The exhibit will be on display the month of April, with the artist in attendance for First Friday Art Walk on April 7, 5-8pm.
