Danielle Rackowski

Danielle is a Self Portrait Photo Artist and Digital Artist based in New Jersey. She uses Digital Photography and Digital Art to create Fine Art Self Portrait Images. Her imaginative digital art and creative photo manipulation consist of bold and bright colors, which create a stillness in motion.

She abstracts color to attain a sense of inner clarity and to see beyond her own introspective gaze. Her self portraits are grounded between reality and imagination, which reveal subconscious levels of thinking.

By abstracting, layering, and compositing imagery, she expresses subtle and complex intricacies on the surreality of emotion. Her painterly aesthetic forges meaningful connections between the balance of color and spiritual growth. At the heart of Danielle’s creative focus, is the inevitable desire to make the intangible tangible; to visualize emotions that live beneath the surface as a quality that can be touched, seen, or lifted.

Of these artworks, Danielle shares, “By sourcing images of classical still life floral paintings, I transform myself into botanical beings instilled with spiritual meaning:

Pink, Red, and Magenta show a blossoming of soul, passion, purpose, and power. This compliments the quiet introspection of Violet and are devotional to self-love and self-care. Colorful sparks of rosettes are abstracted to reveal an inner tranquility of peace and alignment. The harmony of Magenta and Red flows into Blue and Yellow, which exudes an energizing, spirited, and calming surge of wonderment and mindfulness. My creative vision and direction becomes more abundant, fruitful, and prosperous. My aura radiates wisdom, maturity, loyalty, and trust.

As I transition into the season of Autumn, flowing and glowing color vibrancies create a harmonious connection of reflection and rebirth. What becomes dormant, creates a new blossoming of inner growth, change, and cyclical expansion. When faced with uncertainty, fear, or doubt, I embrace my intuition through this spiritual clarity and balance. That awakens and nurtures my higher self. That is bold, bright, and electrifying.”
