Meet Your Coach, Gita Joshi
Gita Joshi
I am Gita Joshi, an artist coach, a curator, art dealer, editor at Art Seen Magazine, author of bestselling book, Show Your Art and host of The Curator’s Salon Podcast.
I’ve also been a producer for an open studios program with over a 100 artists across multiple sites in South London.
I have also led groups ( of artists, art enthusiasts and collectors) to visit an artist at their studio which my guests have always found to be inspiring and enlightening.
Studio visits are a regular part of my work and an important part of an artists work as they grow their network and draw in new audiences.
Inside this mini program, I share what makes a successful Studio Visit and how artists can prepare and what to expect. I also discuss what I am looking for in a studio visit, common questions I ask, and what artists can expect when they host visitors in their workspace.
What you will learn inside this program will serve you for studio meetings with your existing audience and also for visits from curators, galleries, industry professionals, collectors and media.
I look forward to supporting your art journey!
