Of her work, she says, “I work with narrative but it is not set in stone, I would rather it was fluid and open to the viewer’s interpretation. My story or stories are there but as the painting travels beyond me it begins a new life with viewers and owners. I hope there are enough questions and openings for viewers to develop their own relationship with the work. I hope to inspire personal journeys as well as provide an intriguing set of visual prompts through colour pattern technique and my own take on figuration.”
