Leah Olsen-Kent

Leah Olsen-Kent is an artist and nature enthusiast dedicated to capturing the simplicity and beauty of nature through detailed brushstrokes and thin layers of oil paint. She describes her paintings as “a portal to nature’s quietude, inviting observers to immerse themselves in the serene beauty that might often go unnoticed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.”

She says: “I am an oil painter, fine artist and nature enthusiast who explores and searches out nature’s simplicity and beauty. I transcribe the details, shadows and light that I see before me onto the canvas through brushstrokes, numerous layers of thin paint and a limited colour palette. I am influenced by the quiet solitude of nature and want the viewer to feel like they are standing in the exact location each piece was painted, to feel completely immersed.”
