Elevate Your Insta Game
What does it mean to sell art on Instagram? Many people think it means offering art with a FOR SALE sign. It can. But most of the time artists are also selling the artist brand. Whether you love or hate the word brand, doesn’t matter. But selling on Instagram requires the artist to enrol their followers into their vision, their art, their inspiration and bring them into the artist’s world.
Once people are ‘warmed up’ and familiar with you and your art, they are much more likely to want to purchase your art.
Again, just for clarity, selling art does not mean you have to have a FOR SALE sign and have them buy through the DMs. It can mean directing them to your exhibition, gallery, online gallery, website, or studio if that is where you prefer for them to continue to complete a transaction.
Before people invest their money in your art, they are investing their time, energy and attention. So it falls to the artist to ensure their Insta content is rewarding their follower’s attention.
Many times when I am working with art buyers, they will naturally turn to Instagram for their own research or to deepen their connection with the artist I am proposing.
So, are you showing up on IG the best you can? Or are you struggling to keep up?
Imagine never running out of something to share on Instagram knowing everything you say and post is wildly appreciated by your audience, that people are excited to comment, connect, reach out and share your posts, AND that you are being seen by galleries, curators and media.
If that's not your reality just yet, let me know if this sounds familiar:
You feel the need to post fresh artwork everyday but you can't create a new piece daily!
You think if you don't have an exhibition coming up, there's nothing to announce and perk up your audience.
You feel you have already told your audience everything they need to know about your art and struggle to find new things to post, write, share.
You're getting messages like 'love this painting' but not nobody's asking it they can buy it
You've previously announced new art for sale but felt emotionally burnt out and stressed keeping momentum during your sales launch
That’s why I created Elevate Your Insta Game
What your audience needs to see, hear and read in order for them to engage, comment, share and buy
