Catherine Lette

Catherine Lette is a practicing painter living and working in South London. Having completed a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martin’s College, Lette is currently participating in the Turps Off-site Painting Program. In 2021 Lette has been shortlisted for the Jackson’s Painting Prize and published in Art Maze Mag Issue 21 within the curated selection. Lette’s work is concerned primarily with the figure and questioning the impact of contemporary life upon body and mind. Drawing is at the heart of her practice, a daily activity that underpins her work and shapes her paintings, populating them with the vernacular that surrounds her.
