Of her works, she shares, “My practices revolve around popular culture and relevant social commentary, particularly in LGBT and gender discourses which are reflected in both contemporary installations and online Webcomic publications, mainly in the lesbian genre. As of artistic approach, my works are articulated through an academic-oriented process and blended with relevant and relatable events. Reconfiguring and simplifying complex worlds through visual communication, my key field of work is display installation with 3D animation, illustration, and found footage as my main elements. On the side of the Webcomic, my illustration’s locus is the simplicity of colors and space with specialties in the soft femineity art style that emphasizes the message using visual communication. I utilize the accessibility and visibility of popular platforms like Webcomics to make gender discourses, especially lesbianism more open to the public. The local context of discrimination and gender issues are integrated and disguised under pastel feminism of light-hearted tone comic. Both artistic approaches aim to facilitate the understanding of social issues in a natural and welcoming manner.”
