Smith says, “Leaping forward into a much larger studio space has become a major expansion in my career. Mostly I had no idea how much it would elevate my practice. It was just natural to start working on much larger pieces and the most important thing is the ability to work on many different pieces that enhances the freedom to take risks and make bold moves. Also I have had many different approaches and have had a lot of major corporate projects that have been very technical and have given me a lot of experience and have helped me towards getting through many different challenges.”
