She says: “I was born in Key West, Florida, and currently reside in San Juan, Puerto Rico, a life journey that has seen me move across cities and states 23 times. Each relocation brought the challenge of leaving behind established communities and the need to start anew. To anchor myself in these ever-changing environments, I began creating gardens of plants and flowers, which have become a central theme in my work.”
