Juliette Scott
Northumberland based Juliette Scott grew up in Sussex and has a BA Honours Degree in History of Art .
Juliette decided to learn the art of photography in 2014. During the last seven years she has undertaken a number of photography courses. Her over-riding inspiration comes from nature. Alongside this, Juliette also has a deep interest in Venice, she studied Venetian art and architecture as part of her degree. Her love of Venice began when she first visited the city aged 12. She is particularly inspired by Victoria Crowe’s works of Venice; her use of symbolism, iconography and complex textures.
Juliette successfully exhibits and sells her work across the UK. Her works are currently on show at the exhibition ‘Drowning in Corruption’ at Pure Art Gallery, Bannatyne Spa Hotel, Hastings. Previous exhibitions include ’In Print: 20:20 Vision’ at Watts Gallery 2020-2021, Autumn Exhibition at The Biscuit Factory 2019-2020 and The Dancing Light Gallery, Edinburgh in 2019. Her work can be seen at her local gallery Haslam’s of Hallgate in Hexham.
