Preetha Varma

Toronto based artist, Preetha Varma was always passionate about creativity and presentation so she channeled her design expertise into art. Growing up with an artist sister at home, her love for art increased over time. Her art is inspired by nature and diverse cultural background she has. She insists that art is a form of comfort for her.

Preetha was born in India and now lives in Toronto, Canada and maintains her own home studio.

Preetha is specializing in painting Pet Portraits And Wild Animals which she calls as PAW art. Her work explores various emotions of animals. Most of her paintings are done using acrylics. The tools used varies depending upon the subject and mood. She considers herself as a beginner and is evolving through each of her paintings. Color is the primary focus with her aim to bring individuality through bold color usage. Overall, her focus is to bring positive vibes with each of her paintings. All her paintings are created using professional quality paints and canvases. They are varnished for protection against dust, UV rays and yellowing.
